Celibacy, Semen Retention, and Karezza: My Experience With Sexual Energy, Discipline, and Control

Celibacy, Semen Retention, and Karezza: My Experience With Sexual Energy, Discipline, and Control

A personal deep-dive into celibacy, semen retention, and karezza, comparing energy levels, discipline, and masculine vitality from lived experience with dopamine detox and sexual control practices.

Introduction: Why I Started Celibacy and Semen Retention

I originally entered celibacy during an extreme dopamine detox experiment where sexual activity was completely removed as part of the reset.

What started as a temporary phase of abstinence turned into a longer exploration of celibacy, semen retention, and karezza — specifically to test how sexual discipline affects energy, focus, and masculine drive.

After the experiment ended, I stayed in celibacy longer intentionally to push the limits further and observe long-term effects.

Eventually, I also returned to karezza-style sexual practice (sex without ejaculation), which changed my entire perspective on sexual energy.

Celibacy: Why It Feels Surprisingly Easy

One of the biggest realizations I had is that celibacy is actually easier than most people think.

In my experience, celibacy mostly comes down to two things:

  • Not engaging with sexual content
  • Not physically acting on sexual impulses

Once those two inputs are removed, sexual thoughts naturally fade into the background.

During long periods of celibacy, I found myself focused on:

  • creative work
  • physical training
  • productivity
  • mental clarity

Sex simply wasn’t on my mind most of the time.

From an energy standpoint, celibacy felt stable, calm, and mentally clear — but not necessarily explosive or highly charged.

This is why I don’t personally see long celibacy streaks as extremely difficult or rare.

Semen Retention: The Foundation of Energy Discipline

Semen retention is often discussed as the core mechanism behind increased energy in men.

In my experience, semen retention does contribute to:

  • mental clarity
  • emotional stability
  • reduced impulsivity
  • improved focus

However, I noticed something important:

Retention alone felt more like energy preservation, not energy amplification.

It maintained a baseline, but it didn’t necessarily create intense surges of drive or vitality beyond that baseline.

That distinction became important later when comparing it to karezza.

Karezza: The Hardest and Most Intense Form of Sexual Discipline

Karezza (sex without ejaculation) completely changed my perspective.

Unlike celibacy, karezza is not about absence.

It is about control during stimulation.

This is where things became significantly more challenging.

During karezza practice, I noticed:

  • extremely high sexual stimulation
  • strong urge toward orgasm
  • intense physical and mental willpower required
  • prolonged control under pressure

Compared to celibacy, karezza demands far more discipline because you are actively engaging sexual energy without releasing it.

This creates a completely different psychological and physiological state.

Celibacy vs Karezza: The Key Difference in Energy

The most important distinction I experienced:

Celibacy:

  • Energy feels stable and clean
  • Low sexual frustration
  • Reduced primal tension
  • Easier emotional regulation

Karezza:

  • Much higher energy intensity
  • Strong sexual charge present
  • Increased primal drive
  • Requires continuous self-control

In celibacy, energy feels conserved.

In karezza, energy feels amplified and actively circulating.

This is why I ultimately found karezza more intense and more demanding than celibacy or semen retention alone.

Masculine Energy and Sexual Psychology

One unexpected observation was how differently my mind and body behaved in each state.

During celibacy:

  • I felt calm, neutral, almost childlike in energy
  • Less sexual tension overall
  • High clarity but lower intensity

During karezza:

  • Stronger masculine drive
  • Increased primal instincts
  • Higher aggression toward goals and action
  • But also increased sexual frustration if not managed properly

It felt like karezza activates a more “charged” version of masculine energy, while celibacy preserves a more neutral baseline.

Semen Retention vs Karezza: Which Is Stronger?

Based on my experience:

Celibacy / Semen Retention:

  • Easier to maintain long-term
  • More stable mental state
  • Less emotional volatility

Karezza:

  • Much harder to control
  • Higher energy output
  • More intense psychological demand
  • Greater stimulation and difficulty resisting orgasm

This is why I personally found karezza to be the more advanced discipline compared to simple semen retention or celibacy.

Final Thoughts: What I Learned From Celibacy and Karezza

After going through extended phases of celibacy, semen retention, and karezza, my conclusion is simple:

  • Celibacy is easier than most people think
  • Semen retention is mostly about stability and conservation
  • Karezza is the most intense and demanding form of sexual discipline I’ve experienced

Each practice affects energy differently, but karezza stands out as the most powerful — and also the most difficult to control.
